Clare businesses came out in force over the weekend to celebrate their business achievements at the FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards Night 2015 Saturday, the 10th of October in Treacy’s West County Hotel, Limerick Road, Ennis. The night commenced a Drinks Reception at 7.30pm followed by dinner and a showcase of the finalists businesses through video presentations. The event was attended by main sponsors FBD and all 9 category sponsors as well as the finalists themselves who were accompanied by other businesses and invited guests. BWG Value Centre who sponsored the drinks reception and wine on the night was also represented.
The Awards are an important mechanism for recognising the achievements and efforts of businesses across County Clare in a broad range of sectors and areas. Each business in all 9 categories completed a detailed entry form and was judged by an independent company spot check, with some categories also encompassing a mystery shop element to the judging. Speaking at the Awards, Pat Morris, President of Ennis Chamber said “I would like to thank FBD for their continued commitment to these Awards over the past 6 years and to the Category Sponsors for their support. The value of these Awards is highlighted by the fact that many businesses have entered on several occasions and therefore see the benefits. Previous winners of the FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards are continuing to grow and thrive; often referring to their success in these Awards as a mark of achievement and a positive experience in the growth of their business. I would encourage the finalists and winners here tonight to do the same.” Branch Manager of FBD Ennis, Ide O’ Keefe commented, “FBD are delighted to partner with Ennis Chamber for the 6th consecutive year in sponsoring these awards.
