University of Limerick secures €1.7m funding for subsidised micro-credential courses and professional diplomas.

 

 

University of Limerick has secured a €1.7m fund that will subsidise either 50% or 80% of a course fee for selected micro-credential courses and one-year professional diplomas.

UL has been awarded 1,965 subsidised places for part-time learners across 94 micro-credential courses https://www.ul.ie/gps/funded-microcreds-at-ul and 14 one-year professional diplomas. https://www.ul.ie/gps/funded-professional-diplomas You will find subsidised courses in ICT, Data, AI, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Tax, Health and Nursing.

The courses will start from this Summer, with the majority starting in Autumn 2024 (September) and Spring 2025 (January).

Applications are now open for selected Summer and Autumn micro-credentials and professional diplomas. The 50% or 80% subsidy amount will be signposted in the fees section on the course pages and will be automatically applied once a student makes and application. Places are limited and will be offered on a rolling basis.
