UL online event – ‘Upskilling at Work 2021/2022’

Upskill at Work 2021 / 2022

Free for lunch next Wednesday, May 19? Grab a sandwich and log into the UL hosted live online event ‘Upskilling at Work 2021/2022’ (from 1.15 – 2pm), which will be of interest to many of our members.

The world of work as we knew it is changing and skills are the key to progression.  Attendees of this online event  will learn about the suite of short, flexible courses for professionals to gain skills and accreditation while working.

Future Skills Gaps

Developed specifically to address future skills gaps across multiple sectors, employers and HR managers  will have the opportunity to also hear about  government funded supports and how upskilling has a proven positive organisational, professional & personal impact.

For discussion:

  • The Future of Work. Why short flexible courses are rising in popularity for professionals in the workplace.
  • The suite of UL professional diplomas available to work based learners.
  • An introduction to the UL@Work initiative. Industry collaborative professional diplomas targeting specific skills shortages.
  • Funding options available from the 2021/2022 government initiatives across Springboard and the Human Capital Initiative.
