

Ennis Chamber & IKC3 present: Sustainability Networking Event for SME’s

Ennis Chamber together with IKC3 will host a networking event on ‘sustainability for businesses’ on Thursday, February 12.
IKC3 is a collaboration between MTU, UCD and Trinity College Dublin – whose ‘Sustainability for SMEs’ range of funded training programmes aim to support and empower SMEs in a practical, actionable way.
A broad range of short presentations, plus the opportunity to network and ask questions, will allow attendees to develop knowledge, share experiences, hear from leading experts and find out more about funded bespoke training programmes and ‘green’ grants for businesses.

Case Study Speakers are:
Fiona O’Shea Stack who will present Dromoland Castle Resort’s remarkable sustainability journey
Sean Torpey, will talk bamboo hurleys and other interesting sustainable practices embedded in this dynamic second-generation business
Specialist Speakers are:
Helen Courtney Power, Marketing Manager, IKC (‘sustainability for businesses programmes’ available through IKC3)
Tom Mellett, Senior Engineer, Clare County Council Climate Action Team, will outline County Clare’s Climate Action Plan – with a focus on its meaning for businesses
Theresa Mulvihill, Senior Enterprise Development Officer, Local Enterprise Office Clare will highlight the suite of ‘Green for Business’ supports provided by Local Enterprise Office Clare
*Members of Ennis Chamber who operate in the sustainability/ renewable energy sector will also be in attendance to answer any questions.
