Survey to Gain Wider Understanding of Challenges Faced by Women in Business

Chambers Ireland launches survey to gain wider understanding of challenges faced by women in business.

Chambers Ireland is a member of the Eurochambres Women’s Network, which comprises Chamber members and policy leaders from across the European Chamber network. The group is tasked with working on policy recommendations to support women in business, inclusion in the workplace and female entrepreneurship.

In order to get a wider understanding of challenges faced by women in business, the Network has developed a survey targeted at female managers in leading positions in companies and female entrepreneurs. The aim of the survey results is to offer Eurochambres Women’s Network an insight into the daily challenges of these  women and to help shape its policy messages and actions accordingly for the coming years.

Emma Kerins, Head of Policy and Public Affairs with Chambers Ireland said, “A strong European response will give us a platform to make recommendations to the new European Commission, and indeed Irish legislators and policy makers.”

The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete and the deadline is the 2 September 2019.
