Supports to mitigate impact of energy price rises

As costs spiral upwards, never has it been more critical to minimise energy use in your business.

Are there practical measures you can take? Are there supports?

The good news is that there are Energy Supports Grants for Businesses available to help you reduce your energy costs.

 

Here are some useful links for more information about such supports.

  1. Support Scheme for Energy Audits – SEAI

Find out if your business is eligible for a €2,000 voucher towards the cost of a professional energy audit. See: https://www.seai.ie/business-and-public-sector/small-and-medium-business/supports/energy-audits/

2. Capital investment For decarbonisation Processes – Enterprise Ireland

Under Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) (2021-2026), projects supporting the digital and climate transition of enterprise are being funded through the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility. This covers projects that will facilitate emissions reductions as part of a decarbonisation plan. 3. Support Scheme for Renewable heat – SEAI
The Support Scheme for Renewable Heat is a government funded initiative designed to increase the energy generated from renewable sources in the heat sector. The scheme is open to commercial, industrial, agricultural, district heating, public sector and other non-domestic heat users.
