The Discover Ireland database of Festivals and SPECIAL Events is a bank of key events taking place in the Republic of Ireland throughout 2015. It is NOT an entertainment listings guide, but is intended to gather information on annual, seasonal or infrequently occurring Festivals and SPECIAL Events that are of a quality and SCALE to specifically attract overseas and/or non-local visitors to the area they are being staged in.
The information is gathered by Fáilte Ireland for the purpose of promoting these events on DiscoverIreland.ie, Ireland.com and VisitDublin.com – as well as other forms of media.
