Springboard+ Programmes

ul UL has been awarded funding for 18 Springboard courses with 230 free Springboard+ places for jobseekers in the Limerick and Mid-West region.  These programmes are offered across a number of UL faculties in the areas of Science, Business, Computing, Engineering and Languages.

These courses are in response to the needs of local industry and are in line with the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs to get more people back into employment and to build clusters of expertise in key sectors.

These courses are flexibly delivered and most courses include a work placement or internship.  To be eligible to participate on a Springboard+ course an applicant must be unemployed.

We are hoping that local industry, public bodies, chambers, government agencies, networks, etc. will circulate this information to their employees and wider group to achieve as wide a reach as possible to get the word out there about these opportunities.

Some of your colleagues may know of jobseekers that would be interested and eligible to avail of a Springboard+ programme and I would be very grateful if they would pass on the information below to anyone who may be interested.

Some of the course application deadlines are imminent so it would be most appreciated if the attached details could be circulated as soon as possible
