Soprano Regina Nathan Sings for St Columba’s

Gifted soprano Regina Nathan will perform a concert in the intimate setting of St Columba’s Church Bindon Street, Ennis, on June 29th at 8.00pm,  to help raise funds for the vital maintenance work needed on the church. Tickets are priced at €30 for this terrific cause.

The historic St Columba’s Church has opened its doors to host many events over the years, connecting with the wider local community through concerts, coffee afternoons, school music concerts, children’s programmes, the annual Christmas Tree event and many other interesting and fun projects.

Regina Nathan a Christmas season favourite at St Columba’s has a special gra for performing in this very historic venue with its wonderful acoustics.  She says she is delighted to perform on June 29th to help much needed raise funds.

As with churches throughout Ireland, congregations are dwindling and the expenses needed to maintain such treasures are difficult to come by. Apart from the fact it has become an important venue option for so many events, Regina believes it would be a tragedy to witness a building so steeped in history, culture and craftsmanship, fall deeper into disrepair.
