Ryans Centra in Ennis named Best Centra Store in Ireland
Ryan’s Centra in Ennis, Co. Clare has been named the best Centra in Ireland, scooping the “Centra Store of the Year” title for 2016. The store received the much coveted accolade at the Centra National Conference which was held in the Malton Hotel, Killarney recently.
The team from Ryan’s Centra were presented with their award by Ian Allen, Centra Sales Director and Eoin MacManus, Director of Three Business, competition sponsors.
The Centra ‘Store of the Year’ Award is bestowed upon the store which give a true reflection of excellence across every retail aspect. Centra stores throughout Ireland are audited by retail consultant, Alan Collins for the award. The audit focuses on range, quality, customer service, hygiene, service offering and local community involvement.
On receipt of the award, store owners, Paul and Kay Ryan paid tribute to their team and acknowledged that their enthusiasm and constant dedication was pivotal to winning the award. “Our passionate workforce that is expertly led by our store manager Kate Sherlock, strive towards a common goal – which is providing the absolute best service, product offering and value for our customers. We are delighted with this award, as it recognises and endorses the work we do to provide our customers with a top-class local shopping facility.”
Commenting on the awards, competition judge, Alan Collins said: “There’s something about this store that makes it feel just ‘perfect’. It has that unique shopping experience and it all comes together at the front of the store where you are greeted by an abundance of top quality fresh food. The store places a huge emphasis on providing excellent customer service and the friendliness evident throughout the store is contagious. This is the kind of store everyone wants on their doorstep.”
