PwC Pre-Budget 2020 submission webcast on Tuesday, 7 July

PwC has been a longstanding partner of the National Centre for Family Business.

PwC  have invited the Centre’s subscribers to register for their Pre-Budget 2020 submission webcast on Tuesday, 7 July.

The impact of COVID-19 on jobs has been most severely felt in the Irish SME sector. In order to restart it, we need to focus on restoring demand in the Irish economy and support the maintenance and restoration of jobs. At the same time, businesses should be encouraged to adapt to a greener economy and should be helped in this process.

In the webcast, our expert panel will discuss the considerations needed to help protect and support “home grown” Irish SMEs as they restart and recover in the post COVID-19 environment. We will outline the measures that are required to achieve this in our Pre-Budget submission.

Together with Ronan Furlong, Colm O’Callaghan and Nicola Quinn, we will be joined by two special guests to share their insights:

John McGrane, Executive Director of the Family Business Network and Director General and Co-Founder of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce
Stephen Gleeson, Managing Director, Hyundai Ireland
Date: Tuesday, 7 July 2020
Time: 11.00am BST
Duration: 40 minutes

This promises to be a fascinating discussion about the ways that the Government can plan for the new business landscape beyond the immediate impacts of COVID-19.
