Public Realm Works Ennis – Update w/e 19 April

There’s a tangible push to speed up the public realm works in the town centre, with contractors Shareridge, under the direction of Clare County Council (Ennis Municipal District) now working a separate night shift from 7pm to 3am from Monday to Thursday (inclusive) for five weeks, on High Street, f in order to complete the new footpaths.

Meanwhile the anticipated finish date for the section from Dunnes Stores exit onto O’Connell Street, to the end of the Old Ground Hotel building on O’Connell Street, is anticipated to finish in September.

This week works were completed on the installation of a new manhole and services outside Boots on O’Connell Street.  The Heras fencing between Boots and Quins Bow will be removed for the weekend to facilitate the crowds that are expected in town for the match between Limerick and Clare!

Ennis Chamber wishes our senior hurlers well on Sunday ….. Up the Banner!
