PRESS RELEASE: General Election 2016 – Ennis Chamber presents Clare Business Forum Debate
Ennis Chamber, in association with The Clare Champion and Clare FM, is to present the Clare Business Forum Debate with General Election Candidates. Hosted by Treacy’s West County Hotel, the event takes place on Tuesday the 9th of February at 7pm.
With the majority of the 14 Clare candidates having confirmed their attendance, the debate will focus on the business issues concerning the county. Issues to be discussed will include supporting business; creating employment; infrastructure; and public services. The Clare Champion senior reporter Dan Danaher and Clare FM’s Morning Focus presenter Gavin Grace will moderate proceedings.
All businesses in County Clare are encouraged to attend. Speaking ahead of the event, Ennis Chamber CEO Rita Mc Inerney said, “This is an ideal opportunity for business people in County Clare to hear first-hand the positions of candidates when it comes to enterprise. In addition it enables the business community to shape and influence potential policies of future Clare representative in Dail Eireann.”
The event is free to attend for Ennis Chamber members with an opportunity for them to ask further questions of the candidates. Non-members are also welcome to attend at a cost of €10.
