The Directorate General for Growth has launched the “Mission for Growth” in Taipei from the 3-5 June 2015. Scheduled to be held in parallel to Computex, the largest ICT trade show in Asia and second largest in the world, this trade mission presents an excellent opportunity to Irish SMEs operating in the ICT sector. Companies will be offered a unique opportunity to explore and the Taiwanese market and, in particular, gain knowledge on how to do business in the ICT sector in Asia. Delegates will also have the chance to visit the Hsinchu Science Park, among one of the world’s most significant centres for semiconductor manufacturing and home to over 400 high-tech companies. Furthermore the event will also feature B2B meetings between European companies and their Taiwanese counterparts. Participation in Mission for Growth is free of charge but participants are responsible for their flights and accommodations expenses.
