Minister Simon Coveney to meet with business owners and community groups in Ennis

A delegation of business owners representing Ennis Chamber  recently met with  Simon Coveney, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence TD, for a post budget meeting, at which challenges facing businesses were discussed, together with government supports.

Minister Coveney returns to Ennis today (Friday, November 11) to continue that discussion but to extend the conversation to include community group leaders and the wider business community across County Clare.

The feedback from our members who attended the meeting last month was very positive and Ennis Chamber President Colin Ryan encourages business owners to attend today’s meeting on that basis. “Minister Coveney was very attentive. He engaged with members in a group and on an individual basis. It’s not often business people get the opportunity to have the ear of a senior minister and we strongly advise business owners to grasp this opportunity.”

Billed as a ‘Fine Gael Budget 2023 Roadshow’ this networking opportunity for small businesses, enterprises and community leaders also forms part of Fine Gael’s campaign on building ‘Stronger, Safer Communities’ by providing engagement opportunities at a local level.
