Mediation Scheme for Business and Commercial Disputes Launched

Chambers Ireland officially launched the “Business and Commercial Mediation Scheme” on Thursday 8th October. The Scheme, which is operated in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Law Society, the Bar Council of Ireland and the Mediator’s Institute of Ireland will operate on a pilot basis until July 2016, with the objective of promoting mediation as a cost and resource efficient way for businesses to resolve commercial disputes.

Companies can access mediation services at a significantly reduced rate for the duration of the pilot. This is an opportunity for Chambers to provide their members with access to an important service at a reduced rate. Experts in commercial mediation are available to host briefings or speak at Chamber events over the coming months. If you would like more information on hosting a briefing or having an expert speak at an event, please contact Chambers Ireland as soon as possible.
