A major overall prize will be announce at the launch of the FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards with Minister Pat Breen T.D. The Launch which is free to attend, is sponsored by Bank of Ireland and will take place at a Breakfast Briefing from 7:30am-9am on Friday the 17th of June in the Temple Gate Hotel, O’Connell Square, Ennis.
The FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards have been the highlight of the Business Calendar in County Clare since their inception in 2010. In the 6 years of the awards, over 600 businesses have entered, with 180 finalists and near 60 Winners. There are 9 categories covering a broad spectrum of business including Industry, Professional Services, Customer Service, Best Place to Eat, Digital Media, Retailer of the Year, Tourism Experience, Best Hospitality Provider ND Start up Business of the Year
The objective of the Awards is to recognise examples of business excellence in the county and pay tribute to the talent, dynamism and innovation to be found across the county. The FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards provide an important opportunity for the local business community to come together and celebrate their successes and to promote themselves by entering one or more or the award categories, which has proved hugely popular over the past 6 years.
Premier Sponsor is FBD and the Category Sponsors include AIB, Dublin Coach, Clare Local Enterprise Office, Virgin Media, Essilor, Microsemi, Energia Shannon Airport and Ulster Bank. Most businesses will find at least two categories in which to showcase their company. Businesses can benefit by entering as a way to recognise their success but also to set the company as a benchmark for excellence, to promote the company and to have a promotional video of the company for all finalists. The new FBD Clare Business Awards Brochure for 2016 will be made available at the Launch. All businesses in County Clare are invited and encouraged to enter these valuable awards.
The Launch sponsored by Bank of Ireland will also see a very interesting line up of speakers reflecting the current activity of Ennis Chamber members across the four sectors of Professional Services, Retail, Tourism/Hospitality, and Industry. The Launch will hear from Brian Crowley of TTM Healthcare, David Fitzsimons from Retail Excellence Ireland, and David Collins of the Great National Hotels Group, all Ennis Chamber Members.
