Just to keep Ennis members in the loop on what we are doing here in Bank of Ireland to support our customers and communities while also being mindful of trying to keep our colleagues safe in these unprecedented times.


We have set up a Customer Care Hub on our website with a comprehensive range of supports for customers during the COVID-19 national emergency.


These include payment breaks for mortgages and loans, and banking services for people who are in self isolation and waiving fees for contactless payments.

Our phone lines are very busy right now and customers may experience a delay getting to speak with our colleagues.

We are doing everything we can to improve our service times but it is challenging. In line with social distancing guidelines, we had to reduce the number of customer service representatives in our call centre.

There are faster ways to get your questions answered or to do what you need to do:

The Bank of Ireland website is being updated with information that people are asking us for
Self serve options like 365online & the mobile app are also available
The Bank of Ireland Twitter @bankofireland and Facebook pages are also providing real time updates on customer queries

We understand that it may be frustrating trying to get through.  If you cannot get online or use online or mobile banking please contact us here in the branch.
