Local Property Tax Review
The Minister for Finance has asked Dr Don Thornhill to conduct a review to consider and make recommendations on the operation of the Local Property Tax, in particular, any impacts on LPT liabilities due to property price developments. The review will examine the operation of the Local Property Tax and make recommendations in relation to issues that arise from the review. This public consultation process will run until 30th April 2015 and submissions can be emailed to lptreview@finance.gov.ie.
