How to write an effective awards submission

As part of Clare Enterprise Week 2020, on Wednesday afternoon March 4th, Ennis Chamber will host a workshop/mentoring session on ‘How to Write an Effective Awards Submission’.

Every business from start-up to multi-national appreciates the benefits of being an award winner. But many don’t know how to effectively communicate their business story within the structure of an award application.

If you need guidance on how to write a great submission, then this workshop/mentoring session is for you.

The workshop will be delivered by Jill Beasant, joint owner of Belfast-based Spotcheck Ni LLP.  Spotcheck provides a range of services to enable customer facing businesses to understand and enhance their customer’s experience.  It also offers an adjudicating service, for business awards across the island of Ireland, including the annual Clare Business Excellence Awards.

Jill has a principle role in the project management of Spotcheck’s adjudication process which includes developing judging criteria to meet best practise standards, organising and overseeing mystery shopping, convening judging panels and providing feedback as required.

During this workshop/mentoring session Jill will offer tips, discuss pitfalls and share positive case studies to help  participants produce high quality award submissions.

Date: Wednesday March 4th

Time: 2.30pm – 4pm
