Halloween Festival Ennis

Halloween Festival Ennis 2018

Launched last year, Halloween Festival Ennis with a base in Parnell Street and the surrounding laneways and side-streets was very well supported by traders in the area and the public.
The shop owners made a sterling effort to dress up in costume on the Saturday of the festival and were very just as creative when it came to the ‘Spookiest Window’ competition.

Back again this year, chaired by Darragh McAllister of Lucas Bar and supported by Ennis Chamber and Ennis Municipal District council, Halloween Festival Ennis 2018 has a strengthened programme that runs from Friday October 26 to Sunday October 28, will feature lots of child and family friendly events including:

Story-telling on Fri. 26 & Sat. 27
Face-Painting on Sat. 27 (Community Centre, Chapel Lane/Parnell St and Market Building
Street Entertainment Sat.27
Mobile 360-degree digital media ‘Exploration Dome’ with 6 shows on Sat. 27 / Market Building
Fun guided history walks for children with Ollie Gleeson on Sat. 27

Kids Disco with Ger Sweeney in Market Building/ 7pm on Sat. 27

Specially commissioned silhouette puppet show ‘Ennis: In the Shadow of the Vampire‘ by Lumen Street Theatre & Clare Youth Service staged at 6:30pm on Sunday 28 in the Market Building
While this festival is designed to provide entertainment for families, it is intended to generate more footfall and therefore give a boost to traders in the town centre over the holiday weekend.
