Griffith College Fully Funded Springboard+ courses NOW ENROLLING
Griffith College has received approval to deliver Level 8 Higher Diploma courses in IT at our Limerick city center campus. These courses are funded by the government under its Springboard+ initiative. They are designed to allow IT specialists gain qualifications and employment in sectors where skills shortages have been identified.
The courses on offer in our Limerick Campus are:
- Higher Diploma in Science in Web Development (ICT Skills Conversion)
- Higher Diploma in Science in IT Infrastructure (ICT Skills Conversion)
These are conversion courses that are open to all suitably qualified applicants, regardless of employment status.
Core Modules of both the Higher Diploma in Science in Web Development and Higher Diploma in Science in IT Infrastructure
Semester one focuses on the core computing skills and is common to all programme specialisations. The modules in semester one are:
- Object Oriented Programming
- Relational Databases
- Architecture, Operating Systems and Networks
- Computer Networks
- Web Development and UI Design
