Powering Performance & Participation
EY Limerick invites Ennis Chamber members to explore how data is changing the game of tomorrow by powering performance and participation. The event will take place at Thomond Park on Friday 3 March from 7.30am to 9.30am.
Through the power of data, coaches and players have a much deeper understanding of individual performance, incremental improvements and increased split-second decision-making ability in the heat of the game. In business, these characteristics can make or break an outcome. Powering business performance through data helps teams gain a deeper understanding of business challenges and tap into the unlimited potential of how analytics can meet those challenges and innovate your business.
Following breakfast and networking, we will be joined by an esteemed panel of speakers representing a variety of Ireland’s most popular sports – GAA, Rugby, Soccer and Hockey.
Key note speaker is Vinny Hammond, Head of Analytics and Innovation, IRFU. Vinny joined the coaching team at IRFU in 2008, becoming head of analytics and innovation in 2019. During the Six Nations, you’ll see Vinny at Andy Farrell’s right hand in the coaching box. On the morning, he will discuss the use of technology in rugby, and how IRFU use technology to gain insights into performance and support their teams.
Other speakers in an impressive line up are: Róisín Upton, Hockey Ireland and Olympian, Mike Prendergast, Munster Rugby Coach, Seamus Hickey, Limerick Hurling Legend and Eileen Gleeson, Head of Womens and Girls Football, FAI.
