September 17th – Ennis Chamber Construction Group to meet with Directors of Clare County Council

Earlier this year, Ennis Chamber Policy Group hosted a workshop for those involved in the construction sector to include construction companies and allied professional services (including engineering, planning consultants and estate agents). Key challenges facing the sector together with steps towards improvement were identified. A core group was formed to represent the views of the whole group. Since then Ennis Chamber has facilitated meetings for the core group and in June, the group met with five senior managers from Irish Water to focus on water challenges specific to Ennis and Clare.
On September 17th, the group will meet with the Directors of Clare County Council, in a positive development that creates a forum for dialogue at the highest level at a critical time for Ennis with the recent appointment of GVA Grimley Ltd as consultants to the Ennis 2040 Economic and Spatial Strategy project.
