Ennis Chamber wishes Clare County Council well in Excellence in Local Government Awards

On Thursday November 18th, a virtual ceremony will take place to announce the winners of the Excellence in Local Government Awards 2021.

These awards showcase best practice in local government and recognise the skills, hard work, innovation and enthusiasm within local government that can often go unrecognised. The Excellence in Local Government Awards are hosted by Chambers Ireland and held in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.

Clare County Council has been shortlisted in eight categories.

President of Ennis Chamber, Darragh McAllister said, “We wish the best of luck to CEO Pat Dowling, and his team at Clare County Council at the Excellence in Local Government Awards on Thursday next, November 18th. Clare County Council and its staff have given tremendous support to the business and wider community in Clare especially over the past 19 months of  the Covid Pandemic. It is noteworthy to be shortlisted in eight categories,  and we hope to see Clare County Council  pick up some silverware to reflect this achievement.”
