Ennis Chamber to host workshop on Chamber Ireland’s SME WellBusiness Charter

On January 28, Ennis Chamber welcomes Gillian Bane, Healthy Workplace Co-ordinator with Chambers Ireland to give a presentation on the new SME WellBusiness Charter – a free, self-guided programme from Chambers Ireland, developed in partnership with Healthy Ireland, to help SMEs create healthier workplaces.

Available to affiliated Chamber members, the SME WellBusiness Charter provides practical resources, guidance, and toolkits, together with opportunities for engagement through forums, training sessions, events, and shared learning experiences.

Ennis Chamber CEO Margaret O’Brien said,  “The new SME WellBusiness Charter programme is free to access for our members. The workshop event on January 28th will help members understand the true value of this new HR initiative. With talent attraction and retention critical for SMEs, this free programme gives Chamber members access to tools to help them achieve those HR goals.”

Gillian Bane explained, “The Charter aims to grow engagement with health and wellbeing in businesses, making it a strategic business advantage rather than a “nice to have. By embedding wellbeing into everyday practice, businesses can realise tangible benefits, including improved retention, engagement, and enhanced performance.”

Together with a presentation from Gillian who is the author of the WellBusiness Charter, this event will also include a short presentation with case studies by Laura Long, HSF Health Plan on practical Wellness Supports within the businesses.

This workshop is ideally suited to SME business owners and managers.
