Ennis Chamber President’s Lunch – Guest Speaker Professor Terry Stevens

Ennis Chamber President’s Lunch, will mark the end of a very successful year for Gwen Culligan in the role of President of Ennis Chamber.

In association with sponsors Shannon Region Conference & Sports Bureau, the celebratory lunch will take place at the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis, on Thursday, March 19.

Guest speaker is acclaimed destination tourism consultant Professor Terry Stevens, who is working  with locally based tourism consultancy Repucon, led by Mark O’Connell, to develop and deliver a Niche Destination Plan for Ennis.

As part of his presentation, Prof. Stevens will share his vision for Ennis as a place to visit, shop, work and live.

About Guest Speaker, Professor Terry Stevens

Professor Terry Stevens is Founder and MD of the multi-award winning, international, tourism consultancy, Stevens & Associates. This UK based consultancy has worked in over 50 countries around the world specialising in destination development, marketing and place-making.

He has worked in the industry since the 1970’s holding a number of senior positions in the public and private sectors prior to establishing his consultancy. Stevens & Associates clients include many of the major international development agencies (including the UN World Tourism Organisation, UNESCO, The World Bank, European Bank of Reconstruction, European Investment Bank, The UK Department for International Development and USAID) as well as national, regional and city governments. Terry is currently working on strategic destination development projects in New Zealand, Trinidad & Tobago, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Ireland.
