Cyber Security ‘Trends & Threats’ – Tuesday 03 October
We all know that cyber security is a significant threat, and that scamming and phishing have become more than just a nuisance. It’s important to stay up to speed on cyber security issues. To that end, we have invited senior members of The Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau to give a presentation on ‘Cyber Security Trends and Threats’.
They will be joined by Kevin Tierney, MD, Tierney’s Office Automation who will present a topical case study.

‘Menopause in the Workplace’ – World Menopause Day 18 October
Our chamber colleagues at Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber, organised an award-winning information event entitled ‘Menopause in the Workplace’ earlier this year. They will reprise the event (online) on 18 October, to coincide with World Menopause Day. This online event is supported by Chambers Ireland plus several Chambers from across our national network, including Ennis Chamber.
Menopause affects 30% of female employees in Ireland today, so it is a significant issue for our workforce. ‘Changes to Employment Law – Update’ – Tuesday 24 October
In what promises to be an engaging and informative session, Ruairi Guckian, Terence Morgan and the team from GHR will update Ennis Chamber members on the many changes to employment regulations introduced over the past year and will also address new regulations coming down the track in 2024.
The presentation will include relevant case studies.
