Ennis Chamber Events – Get Booking!

Ennis Chamber will host a number of events throughout March, many of which are Free to attend, but you must register in advance.

March 02 (Monday) the launch of Local Enterprise Week 2020,  will see Ennis Chamber  host a breakfast event outlining ‘Available Funded Training Opportunities‘, and an expert panel discussion on ‘How to Attract and Retain Talent’.

Supported by LEO Clare and Regional Skills Mid-West, this breakfast event will be held at the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis.

A number of state agencies will attend, to highlight funded training opportunities. After breakfast a high level panel discussion moderated by Fiona McGarry of  The Clare Champion, will feature Paula McDonnell, MD, TTM Healthcare, Siobhan Dolan Clancy, former GM and VP, Microsemi, now MD of SDC Business Consulting offering business support services and mentorship, and Eimear Brophy, Programme Coordinator, Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board (LCETB).

This event will provide a great opportunity for both employers and HR managers to discover what funded training opportunities can be tapped into to help up-skill existing staff, to help retain proven talent, but also to attract new talent.

March 04 (Wednesday) – How to Write an Effective Awards Submission. Hosted by Ennis Chamber, this workshop/ mentoring session delivered by Jill Beasant, co-owner of Spotcheck NI, is designed to help those entering awards to write a strong submission.  FREE Event but places are limited. March 19 (Thursday). To mark the end of a very successful year for Gwen Culligan as President of Ennis Chamber, the ‘President’s Lunch’ will take place at the Old Ground Hotel, on Thursday March 19.  Guest speaker is Professor Terry Stevens, the acclaimed international destination guru, who is part of the team currently working on the development of a Niche Destination Plan for Ennis. Prof. Stevens will share his vision for Ennis as a destination. This Niche Destination  programme will not just shine a spotlight on Ennis as a tourism destination but also as a quality place to live and work.   Tickets to the President’s Lunch are €25 for Ennis Chamber members and €30 for non-members.
