Dublin to host TRA 2024 (Transport Research Arena) Conference

TRA 2024 (Transport Research Arena) will take place in the RDS  Dublin from April 15 – 18 2024. It is the largest European transport and mobility research, innovation and technology event.

All modes of transport are represented at this policy and strategy gathering including road, rail, aviation, water and cross modality policy and strategy gathering.

Organisers anticipate that over 4000 policymakers, industry, researchers and academia will attend this event, co- hosted this year by Ireland’s Department of Transport and the European Commission.

Minister Eamon Ryan is the TRA2024 President and Minister Jack Chambers is  Vice President.

The organisers commented, “This four-day discussion  will define the future of transport. Our theme, “Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility,” reflects our commitment to addressing the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. This event gathers individuals and organisations in the shared pursuit of knowledge and innovation in the field of transportation and mobility.

We aim to foster an environment where ideas flourish, discussions thrive, and connections are forged, solutions emerge, and the seeds of future breakthroughs are planted. TRA2024 will provide a shared opportunity to push the boundaries of what we know and to chart new territories in transport research.”
