CSR Presentation by Intel Shannon July 3rd
On Wednesday July 3rd , Ennis Chamber in conjunction with Essilor, will host a presentation on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) delivered by Pat Collins, Operations Manager, Intel Shannon.
Scheduled for an 8am start and taking place in the Old Ground Hotel (Maguire Suite) a light ‘networking’ breakfast will be available from 07.45am before the presentation begins.
Last year Ennis Chamber, organisers of Clare Business Excellence Awards, introduced a CSR category to reflect the growing commitment to CSR within the business world.
In what was a tight battle, with very high standards in evidence, Intel Shannon pipped its competitors to the post, to be announced winners at the Clare Business Excellence Awards Gala.
The timing of this event is scheduled to complement the launch of Clare Business Excellence Awards (10th anniversary) in early July. Essilor will once more sponsor the ‘Leadership in CSR’ category and this presentaion by Intel is a timely reminder of Intel Shannon’s commitment to CSR and what exactly they do to set them apart as winners.
As with last year, the ‘Leadership in CSR’ award category will seek entries from businesses that set the bar in terms of their responsibility to the environment, consumers, employees, local communities and/or other stakeholders in the public sphere.
This award creates the opportunity to celebrate the positive impact of business on the local communities in County Clare.
