Closing date extended to enter the FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards for a chance to win a €10,000 Prize Pack
Business are being encouraged to enter the FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards to be in with a chance to win a €10,000 Prize Pack for their business. These awards are a way to recognise the innovation and commitment to quality of businesses in County Clare! Every businesses in County Clare can enter in one or more categories:

- Clare Customer Service Excellence Awardsponsored by Shannon Airport
- Best Place to Eat in Clare Awardsponsored by Virgin Media
- Best Use of Digital Mediasponsored by Microsemi
- Clare Retailer of the Yearsponsored by Energia
- Best Tourism Experience in Claresponsored by Dublin Coach
- Best Hospitality Provider in Clare Awardsponsored by Ulster Bank
- Start-Up Business of the Yearsponsored by Local Enterprise Office Clare
In addition to the €10,000 prize pack, businesses enter the FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards as a way to recognise their success to date. It is also the ideal opportunity to promote their business and use it as a benchmark for excellence. There are three finalists in each of the nine categories with all 27 finalists having a promotional video of their company. Entrants will also receive valuable feedback on their business from independent adjudicators.

To facilitate entrants the closing date for expressions of interest has been extended to Wednesday the 27th of July with completed entry forms excepted until Friday the 29th of July. Entry fee €100 per category to Ennis Chamber. Businesses may enter as many categories as they wish.
