Chambers Ireland Appearance before JOC on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation

On Tuesday the 7th of July, Chambers Ireland and Dundalk Chamber in company with Warrenpoint Chamber appeared before the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Jobs Enterprise and Innovation to discuss the potential for developing an economic zone along the border.

During the discussion, Chambers Ireland highlighted the need for capital investment in the north west to facilitate growth, and suggested that the regional action plan for jobs in the border area should be agreed between Governments north and south of the border to underpin the region’s development.
