  • Entry Criteria

    This ‘FREE to Enter’ award is open to voluntary and community groups, who play a significant role in enhancing the quality of life within their communities. Because these are business awards, we would like to see evidence of how the group applied sound business acumen to deliver great results.

    The winning group will be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of €500 One or more of the following criteria should apply:
    • A solid strategy/ business plan
    • Evidence of good leadership, innovation or creativity
    • Positive results
    Nominations are invited from: sports clubs, youth groups, Tidy Towns committees, groups committed to caring for the elderly, the young, the vulnerable, those with special needs, and not forgetting those who organise cultural events or festivals to benefit the local community and the local economy.

    This award is FREE to enter and there is a cash prize of €500 for the winner.

    By entering this award, you will raise the profile of your club or voluntary organisation. The Clare Business Excellence Awards has partnered with Clare FM this year, who will get behind this initiative and St Francis Credit Union as the category sponsor is also committed to highlighting the work and achievements of the entrants.

    The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into before or after judging.
    Once a company is announced as finalist, it cannot withdraw from the competition.

    Guidelines for Submission

    You should aim to type no more than 1500 words in total. You may attach up to three pieces of supplementary evidence, such as photographs to your submission.

    Deadline & Fee

    Application to be received on or before August 23rd, 2019
    There is no entry fee for this category.
