Call for Expressions of Ideas for Regional Enterprise Initiatives
As part of the “Action Plan for Jobs: Regional”, the Department for Jobs Enterprise and Innovation announced funding for a competitive process to drive enterprise growth and new employment in all regions. Enterprise Ireland ran a €5 million Community Enterprise Initiative Scheme and a €5 million Competitive Fund for Local Enterprise Offices under the initiative. Enterprise Ireland intends to call for further submissions for strategic, sectorally focused and regionally based projects later this year. Enterprise Ireland invites submissions that will help to identify potential areas of enterprise and sectoral opportunities in regions; and stimulate a future pipeline of potential strategic, sectorally focused and regionally based projects.
