Access to Finance – Chamber Services to SMEs Report
Eurochambres have made a contribution to the Action Plan on Building Capital Markets Union by mapping out existing local or national supports and advisory capacities across the EU to promote best practice in SME’s accessing finance and investment.
The report presents a brief description of each initiative and the results achieved so far. It is divided in four sections targeting different SME problems:
- Coaching & Seminars – aiming at getting SMEs investment ready
- Guarantees – targeting the gaps in the funding escalator
- Guidance – assisting in identifying the right source of funding
- Matchmaking – helping to find the right SME-finance match
Wexford Chamber’s South East Business Finance Expo is detailed in this report as an example of matchmaking.
