Kathryn Thomas Showcases the Best of Shannon Airport in New Social Media Travel Series

Travel presenter and Shannon Airport Ambassador Kathryn Thomas was back at Shannon this week, filming a new social media travel series, ‘The Best Place to Fly From’ with Kathryn Thomas, which launches this Friday (August 28th) across the airport’s channels.
The well-known TV and Radio broadcaster spent the day meeting passengers and hearing stories from those travelling through the airport, with filming taking place across a number of locations.
Speaking today Kathryn Thomas said; “As someone who loves hearing people’s stories, there’s nowhere better to be than an airport. Spending the day at Shannon Airport brought me right back to my travel show days, talking about my favourite subject, travel, and meeting some wonderful people heading off and arriving home from holidays. We had great fun filming “The Best Place to Fly From”, and I hope the series inspires people to discover the fantastic range of destinations available from Shannon Airport.”
Designed to inspire travel and showcase the extensive choice across Shannon Airport’s 40 routes, this fun, bite-sized series will air on Shannon Airport’s social media channels from this Friday.
