University Limerick (UL) announces applications for the new Micro‑credential Learner Fee Subsidy 2026 will open on Tuesday, 09 June.
In partnership with the Government of Ireland, through the Higher Education Authority (HEA), UL is offering a suite of funded career‑focused micro‑credentials designed to align with industry needs and skills priorities.
These short, flexible programmes enable employees to upskill, reskill, and build in‑demand capabilities, supporting talent development, retention, and business agility in a rapidly evolving environment.
Under this initiative, eligible participants receive 80% fee funding making it an excellent opportunity to invest in employee development in a cost‑effective way.
The following funded places are limited, and courses will close once capacity is reached.
