Sustainability for SMEs networking event on February 12 – co-hosted by Ennis Chamber and IKC3

Ennis Chamber and IKC3 present: Sustainability Networking Event on Thursday, February 12

Ennis Chamber will co-host an event on sustainability for businesses with IKC3 – a collaboration between MTU, UCD and Trinity College Dublin – whose ‘Sustainability for SMEs’ range of funded training programmes aim to support and empower SMEs in a practical, actionable way.

This will be a superb opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in sustainability, share experiences, hear from leading experts and find out more about ‘green’ grants for businesses.

This event will take place from 10am to 12:00 on Thursday February 12, at The Old Ground Hotel and will include an overview of the ‘sustainability for businesses programmes’ available through IKC3, together with some practical (and very interesting) presentations by local businesses outlining their sustainability journey to date.

Case Study Speakers are:

  • Fiona O’Shea Stack who will present Dromoland Castle Resort’s remarkable sustainability journey   –  Winners of  Clare Business Excellence Awards (2025)  ‘Green & Sustainable Practices category, theirs is an impressive and still unfolding sustainability story.
  • Sean Torpey, of Torpey, will talk bamboo hurleys and other interesting sustainable practices embedded in this dynamic business. As Sean explained – sustainability informs every decision we make,.

This is a free to attend event.
