Retail Therapy for Retailers! Developing a Growth Strategy for your Retail Business
Ennis Chamber in conjunction with Clare Local Enterprise Office is hosting a breakfast briefing on Wednesday, 7th March at 7:30am-11:30am for owner/managers of retail and consumer facing businesses across Clare. The seminar is targeted at fashion/jewellery retailers, cafes, restaurants, foodservice outlets, hotels, beauty salons, gyms, opticians, pharmacies, florists and other service providers that are looking to adopt new business practices and accelerate the growth of their retail business in 2018.
Attendees will hear about retail trends for 2018 from leading retail mentor James Burke, who was the retail adviser to Fergal Quinn’s Retail Therapy Programme and widely regarded as a pioneer in the area of growing sales for Independent retailers. James will provide key insights on what makes consumer facing business successful, looking at the importance of visual merchandising, staff management, effective marketing planning and time management amongst other topics.
Tony Cross of MaxiZoo will join James Burke as guest speaker at this event. MaxiZoo is Ireland’s pet retailer, employing ca. 130 people across 17 stores nationwide. Tony will share his story with some practical tips on improving your retail sales.
