Theme: Dress your Window with a Gardener in mind
Description: Clare Garden Festival is now in its sixth year taking place on Sunday, 30th April at Ennis showgrounds, over 70 stalls are already confirmed again as well as a large show garden and garden experts. This year, the festival will expand further into the town with the addition of Clare Garden Festival FRINGE. The Fringe highlight being a garden film & talks on Friday, 28th April in glór. As part of the Fringe, we would be delighted to see shop windows in the town being dressed for the occasion / for the gardener. This can include flowers, gardening tools, plants, gardening clothes, etc. We would love to see both ornamental and vegetable gardening represented as Clare Garden Festival is for all gardeners, see festival details on www.claregardenfestival.com
Date of competition: 24th – 30th April 2017, Judging dates: 26-28th April
Prizes: (sponsored by Old Ground Hotel)
1st Prize: Dinner for 2 in the Brendan O’Regan Room plus a bottle of wine
2nd Prize: Lunch for 2
Judging:
Our judge(s) will suggest the top 3 windows. The public will decide via Facebook.
Judging criteria will include effort, theme, looks and variety.
