To celebrate the Ennis Purple Flag renewal, an event has been planned to Kick-start Christmas Shopping this Friday, December 1st, with late night opening until 8.30pm in Ennis town centre. Local Enterprise Office Clare are holding a free information session on Tuesday evening 24th October which is open to businesses in all sectors who wish to grow their business through online trading with assistance from a government grant scheme (Trading Online Vouchers).


The scheme offers financial assistance of up to 2,500 along with training and advice to help a business trade online.  Participating in this scheme can make the process of trading online much easier.

It’s official, Ennis is a Coach Friendly Destination

Ennis has been awarded ‘Coach Friendly Destination’ status by the Coach Tourism and Transport Council of Ireland (CTTC), a representative body for Ireland’s coach touring companies and private bus operators.

Ennis is one of only three towns in Ireland to have successfully achieved this accreditation, following a submission by a joint working group comprising Clare County Council and Ennis Chamber.
